POPART
"Pop art and the complexity of women: Between strength, independence and controversial interpretations."
In pop art, women were depicted in different ways.
Some artists showed them as strong and independent figures, while other representations were perceived as sexist. It is important to note that pop art took place in the 1950s and 1960s, when the role of women in society was changing. There are different opinions about how to interpret the representation of women in pop art - and that's a good thing.
"Colors as a soul mirror"
The lively tones create a dynamic atmosphere that goes far beyond the face. A bright red can emphasize the inner passion, while a deep blue represents the calm and determination of the woman. Each layer of paint on the canvas helps to deepen the complex emotions and give the viewer an intensive insight into the world of the women depicted.
